Comparing periods, once there are periods to compare
Only reporting periods using the same instrument version can be placed on one line. A difference between two numbers is not by itself a trend.

About this data
How to read FFCNation Insights
- Who is included
- Completed assessments only. Both signed-in and anonymous responses count on the same terms; neither is privileged over the other.
- What the numbers describe
- People who chose to take an FFCNation assessment. They are not a random sample and do not represent any wider population.
- Repeat participation
- For reporting, each respondent counts once per assessment, per instrument version, per period — their most recent completed response. Personal history is unaffected.
- Instrument versions
- Figures are scoped to a single instrument version. Responses from earlier versions of a questionnaire are never averaged in with the current one.
- Small groups
- Overall figures need at least 5 responses; group comparisons need at least 10. Where a withheld group could be recovered by subtraction, a second group is withheld as well.
- Situational family questions
- Family dimensions that did not apply to a household were never asked, and are absent from that household's figures rather than counted as zero. Each dimension reports its own applicable count.
