Why It Matters

America's core values—faith, family, community, and national pride—are eroding, threatening future generations with weakened faith in God, unstable family bonds, and a loss of moral direction in children. Declining community engagement and civic responsibility further jeopardize the unity and strength of our nation. Without decisive action, this erosion endangers our nation's unity, prosperity, and moral foundation for future generations.

Statistics

Rebuild America's Faith In Christ

  1. Decline in identification: In 2021, 63% of U.S. adults identified as Christians, down from 75% in 2011
  2. Rise in unaffiliated: 29% of U.S. adults described themselves as atheists, agnostics, or "nothing in particular"
  3. Projected decline: by 2070, Christians could represent between 35% and 54% of the U.S. population, indicating a potential minority status.

Restore America's Family Structure

  1. Decline in marriages: Adults ages 25 to 54 who are currently married fell from 67% in 1990 to 53% in 2019
  2. Rise in cohabitation: Cohabiting more than doubled over that same period from 4% in 1990 to 9% in 2019
  3. Rise in single parents: 23% of U.S. children under 18 live with one parent, more than three times the global average of 7%

Re-engage Our Communities

  1. Decline in teen volunteerism: In 2015, only 25% of teenagers volunteered, down from 28% in 2005. This marked the end of 30 years of increasing volunteerism among high school-age Americans
  2. Decline in volunteering among parenting-age adults (35-54): Volunteering rates among adults aged 35-54 have significantly dropped compared to younger age groups, showing a generational shift in civic engagement

Re-ignite National Pride

  1. Decline In American pride:  Since 2016, extreme pride has been down among various age groups with young adults between 18 and 29 exhibiting lower levels of national pride
  2. Decline in civics literacy: 70% of Americans failed a basic civics literacy quiz, a significant gap in understanding of governmental structures and processes
  3. Decline in patriotism: Patriotism among Generation Z is at a record low, with only 18% of adults aged 18 to 34 feeling extremely proud to be American
